ACQUISITION INFORMATION:Mrs. Edward Hogan (née Kathleen Bagley), daughter of the original owner, donated this collection to the Ryerson and Burnham Archives in 1978.

HISTORICAL NOTE:
The Joseph J. Bagley Cottage was one of three residences designed in 1916 by architect Frank Lloyd Wright for sites in the vacation community of Grand Beach, Michigan.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE:
The thirteen black and white photographs document the exterior and several interior spaces of the house. The collection also includes four architectural working drawings.
