Description	This 1995 September/October calendar features an exhibition titled "Art As Dramatic Comedy" organized by Marie Shurkus with the artists Charlie Cho, Robert Colescott, Holly Greenberg, Ben Pranger, Kay Rosen, and Martin Wong, an installation by Lauren Lesko titled "Beast" a cabaret/thater-in-the-round for people and their pets hosted and organized by Matthew Ownens titled "Bar K" a series of audio art experimental music organized by Lou Mallozzi including a performance by the Experimental Sound Studio (a non-profit sonic arts organization), a performance by Bay-area composer/sound artists Laetitia Sonami, a cyclical resonance installation by Bill Close and a work shop titled "The Alternative String" also included are seasonal information articles about "Team Arts Pursiuts" as well as information about internet literacy classes offered at RSG led by Paul Brenner and Maria Roussos.

Digitization Specifications	The original object was photographed with a Phase One IQ180 digital camera at 300 ppi as a camera raw file (NEF). The NEF file was converted to the TIFF format in Photoshop CS3. A 300 ppi TIFF file was then added to the CONTENTdm database where a JPEG2000 display image was created, with lossy compression at maximum quality. Text was created using OCR software native to CONTENTdm.
