SAIC Student Newspapers

Description

SAIC Student Newspapers presents examples of student and school-produced newspapers, newsletters, and similar publications from the 150-year history of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Examples range from mimeographed or photocopied newsletters and zines to polished editorial products. Long-running publications like Crumbs and F Newsmagazine are included alongside one-off and short-run titles such as Free Crackers, The Some Times, and Momentum. We invite feedback from the SAIC community to help expand our knowledge of the people, places, and events depicted in these papers. Please contact us at SAIC-digitalcollections@saic.edu if you have information to share.
